Deal Farm Biogas is pleased to confirm that all requested documents have now been uploaded to the South Norfolk Council planning portal to support the new Section 73(a) application (reference 2021/2788).
These documents have been prepared by a range of consultants in agreement with the Council to support the new application. The Section 73(a) submitted to the Council in December 2021 seeks to validate changes to the positioning and layout of some elements on site (part-retrospective), as well as include further provisions to enhance the sustainability and long-term viability of the facility such as Carbon Capture Technology.
Unfortunately, we did experience several delays in submitting the full scope of documents, because of absences of various consultants due to COVID-19. This affected the ability to complete the documents, and subsequently resulted in the documents being submitted two weeks later than originally planned. We would like to apologise for this delay, and we understand that the Council has extended the consultation period to ensure residents have adequate time to review all relevant documents.
Over the coming weeks, it is likely that we will update and resubmit various documents as we receive comments, recommendations and requests for further information as part of the consultation process. Any updated documents will be uploaded to the public planning portal, and we will ensure the local community is informed of any changes via the Parish Councils and on the project website.
